- Instead, an option that doesn't take much more time to setup and is quite a bit faster, is to sandwich a Blur node in-between two opposing Transform nodes

- The first Transform node manages the angle of your directional blur via its rotation knob

- The Blur applies the quantity of motion blur you want (in a single direction only, you get to pick horizontal or vertical)
