Independent steps that work together
Independent steps that work together
SUMMARY
- Everything is dependent on the context: the foreground, the background, the light...

- We have to have a proper background, even temporary, to start pulling an extraction. Working over black or a Checkerboard for example is too different for beginners

- Start with the despill to ensure the color has already been improved before seeing any kind of merging with the new background

- Once you move on the creating an alpha, prefer to see too much of the green screen rather than not enough. Get your edges as soft as possible at first

- Compare frequently the result and the original plate, focus on keeping edges as identical as possible
